Abstract
A system for visualizing X rays from pulsed discharges in the real-time mode using X-ray intensifying screens is described. Using the system, it is possible to record images of X-ray sources in the energy range of 1–100 keV with a spatial resolution of ∼100 μm. The proposed visualization system has been tested while optimizing the radiative characteristics of the high-current vacuum pulsed discharge. It may be employed when studying of a wide class of x-ray pulsed sources.
