Abstract
A phase-stability control system of the radio-receiving section of a radio telescope, used in radiointerferometry observations, is presented. The system contains a picosecond pulse generator the phase of output pulses of which is synchronized with the reference-signal phase. The generator pulses with a 40-ps duration are applied to the input of the receiving unit, and, having passed the same path, as a signal received from celestial sources, are intended to compensate a signal-phase change occurring in the receiving-converting section by the correlation processing. The designed system controls the phase stability with an accuracy of 10 ps.
