Abstract
A ГИД-25 pulse generator with a 25-J capacitive storage is designed as a pulse power source of lenses and correctors of transportation channels of electron and positron beams from the storage-cooler of the ВЭПП-5 injector system to booster storages of the ВЭПП-4 and ВЭПП-2000 systems. The generator consists of a 100-μF storage capacitor, a charging unit, and a thyristor switch, which switches the capacitor to the load. The generator ensures the precision charging of the storage capacitors up to 15–700 V of any polarity and switching it to the winding of the magnetic element of the channel. The capacitor charging error is ≤0.01% in all working voltage range. The pulse repetition rate is 1 Hz.
