Abstract
A digital luminescent screen glow recorder designed for using in plants of the Institute of Nuclear Physics, Siberian Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences, is described. General aspects of implementing the unit and possible versions and special features of designing these units on the basis of different elements are considered. The analysis of factors affecting the selection of types of the light-sensitive image recorder (elements, which directly determine optical characteristics of the recorder) is performed. The results of practical applications of this unit for measuring beam characteristics of the ЛИУ-2 induction accelerator designed at the Institute of Nuclear Physics are given.
