Abstract
A two-channel microwave radiometer (with two receivers) for the decimeter wavelength range is described. The null measurement method is realized in this instrument through application of combined pulse (amplitude and pulse-width) modulation. The use of a special algorithm for forming signals controlling the pulse-width modulation in each channel reduces the dynamic errors in tracking the changes in the antenna signal.
