Abstract
Alumina-yttria binders prepared from yttrium-containing organoalumoxanes have been used to produce alumina-yttria ceramics necessary for the fabrication of high-refractory, chemically inert ceramic composite materials. The composition and properties of the ceramics have been studied using advanced physicochemical characterization techniques.
