Nano- and microagglomeration processes in the thermolysis of titanium and zirconium oxyhydrates

  • Published:
Inorganic Materials Aims and scope

Abstract

Titanium and zirconium oxyhydrates have been prepared using various additives and synthesis procedures, and the heating kinetics of polyacids and the mechanism of nanoparticle agglomeration during the thermolysis process have been studied. The resultant materials have been characterized by thermogravimetry, X-ray diffraction, microstructural analysis, and specific surface area measurements.
