Abstract
We have studied the phase transitions, composition, morphology, and photocatalytic activity of titanium oxyhydroxide modified with phosphate ions in the course of low-temperature hydrolysis. The presence of phosphate ions in the structure of titania enhances the thermal stability and photocatalytic activity of nanocrystalline anatase, which remains stable up to at least 1000°.
