Abstract
Bi2Te2.85Se0.15 single crystals in which the thermoelectric power varies by 50–70 μV/K (from 180 to 270 μV/K) across a region 1–1.5 mm in width have been grown by the Czochralski technique, and the transport properties of the crystals and graded legs cut from them have been studied. The procedure used for the preparation of graded legs appears attractive for practical application.
