Abstract
Hydrogen peroxide is shown to change the fluorescence of β-carotene and chlorophyll a as well as various mixtures of the pigments in Langmuir films and in complex with bovine serum albumin in water solution. Similar effects were shown for zinc etioporphyrin II in the films. No shifts of the fluorescence peaks were registered in any case.
