Effect of surface properties on a temperature jump in a metal

Abstract

The problem of temperature jump that is induced by a heat flux toward a metal surface is solved with regard to electron energy accommodation on the surface. The temperature profile is constructed for different ratios of the electron mean free path to the Debye length.
