Abstract
The influence of laser radiation on the electrodiffusion of dye ions in porous glass has been investigated. It is shown that when the molecular ions are exposed to intense photoexcitation, the rate of electrodiffusion in the porous glass is reduced substantially. The influence of temperature on the electrodiffusion process is studied.
