Abstract

A study is made of the electrical characteristics of multilayer structures and the effect on them due to the properties of the materials, the design of the device, and the parameters of the excitation voltage. Expressions are derived from which one can estimate the dependence of the electrical characteristics of thin-film electroluminescent emitters on the excitation conditions, the construction of the capacitor, and the properties of the phosphor-insulator interface.
