Using the Out-of-Kilter Algorithm to Solve a Complex Assignment Problem

Abstract

The out-of-kilter algorithm is used to solve a complex assignment problem involving interacting and conflicting personal choices subject to interacting resource constraints. An example of successful use is given and extensions into the corporate and social planning fields are suggested.
