Abstract
AMINOPEPTIDASE activity has been implicated in the inactivation of the octapeptide angiotensin II (refs. 1–3), but the extent of its participation is uncertain. Enzymatic and immunological studies have enabled us to identify the angiotensinase activity of pig plasma and serum as aminopeptidase.
