Abstract

AT the Sigatoka Agricultural Station in the Fiji Islands, it had been noted that an occasional baby piglet was born exhibiting symptoms of muscular weakness and inco-ordination in one or more legs. These piglets were born in litters from both pure and cross-bred sows and gilts of the Tamworth, Berkshire and Large White breeds.
