Abstract

THE variety of changes undergone by manganese in soils has been the subject of study by many workers, particularly by those interested in ‘manganese denciency’. This is a condition of the soil in which manganese may occur abundantly and yet is not available to the plant in the form or in the amount required for healthy growth.
