Abstract
Reactions of 1-(o-aminophenyl)-1,2,3-triazole-5-thiols with ring-closing reagents destabilize the triazole ring, promoting the Dimroth rearrangement and subsequent cyclization to 5-(1-benzazolyl)-1,2,3-thiadiazoles.
