Abstract
A fiber feedthrough for a semiconductor laser located in a high (20–22 kbar) hydrostatic pressure cell is a convenient tool for making electrooptical measurements of materials at high hydrostatic pressures. A prototype of a semiconductor laser tuned by high hydrostatic pressure has been developed. A simple method for supplying electric power to samples inside the pressure cell is described.
