Abstract

A synchronizing generator of triangular, sine-wave, and rectangular signals with variable frequencies and amplitudes is described. The main generator of triangular signals is complemented with a functional converter to obtain a sine function using the piecewise-linear approximation. The frequency of generated signals is continuously regulated within the bands of 10–100 Hz, 100–1000 Hz, 1–10 kHz, and 10–100 kHz. The signal amplitudes are continuously varied between 0 and 10 V. The nonlinear distortion factor of the sine signal is within 0.5%.
