Metrological Control of Chemical Fibre Manufacture

  • Published:
Fibre Chemistry Aims and scope

Abstract

Nonelectrical methods with insufficient metrological analysis are used for up to 70% of the measurements in industry. A possible way of automating measurement of a given parameter is shown on the example of the standard on estimating the moisture content of PCA fibre using the gravimetric method. The necessity of metrological processing of some of the standard methods of measurements is an industry-wide problem in the country. A version of hits solution by introducing disciplines related to problems of process optimization and automation of nonelectrical methods of measurements in the curriculum of technical schools is proposed.
