Abstract
The effect of mercaptan sulfur on the thermooxidative stability (TOS) of TS–1 fuel is analyzed. Recommendations are made on changing the standard for the maximum acceptable concentration of mercaptan sulfur for this fuel in GOST 10227–86 to increase the TOS of the fuel.
