Abstract
New complexes of bivalent Co, Ni, and Cu with isatin aminoguanisone (HL) and nitroaminoguanisone (HL1) of the composition ([Co(HL)2]Cl2 (I), [Ni(HL)2]Cl2 (II), [Cu(L)Cl] (III), [Co(L1)2] (IV), [Ni(L1)2] (V), and [Cu(L1)2] (VI) are synthesized. Their molecular conductivities and effective magnetic moments are measured and thermal stabilities are studied. The type of the ligand coordination in I–VI is proposed on the basis of IR data. The summary of physicochemical data for I–VI and the energy calculations for their molecules by the molecular mechanics method made it possible to establish stoichiometry of the coordination polyhedra of the complexes.
