Abstract

The main relationships describing a steady-state operating mode of self-excited-generator transducers with a self-balanced thermistor bridge, in which the transduced capacitance is connected in parallel with the thermistor, are presented. The results of tests of the transducer at frequencies of 2 and 3 MHz show that its sensitivity (∼200 kHz/pF) may be several hundreds of times higher than the sensitivity of self-excited-generator transducers in which the transduced capacitance is included into the frequency-setting measuring LC circuit.
