Instrument Problems of Deformation Monitoring in Construction

  • Published:
Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering Aims and scope

Abstract

The requirement to ensure safety and reliability of construction results in the fact that deformation monitoring has become a necessary part of the construction of large-scale and critical buildings and structures. Basic geodynamic processes are examined, and recommendations relative to optimal equipment parameters and procedures for deformation monitoring during the construction and service lives of buildings and structures are given on the basis of analysis of deformation processes.
