Abstract
It is shown that the derivatives of mono-ortho-alkylsubstituted phenols, which in the ortho-position have primary and secondary alkyl groups, and also tertiary alkyl groups have different correlations between the frequencies of the stretching vibration of the OH bond and Pal'm's steric constants E s 0.
