Synthesis of methoxy-NNO-azoxyethene

Abstract

The first representative of the alkoxy-NNO-azoxy olefin series, viz., methoxy-NNO-azoxyethene, was synthesized by the pyrolysis of 1,1-bis(methoxy-NNO-azoxy)ethane.
