Abstract
The effect of vibromechanical treatment on the microstructure, strength, and ductility of aluminum alloy AK8 is described. The structure of the alloy in the initial and deformed states is investigated by the methods of metallographic and x-ray diffraction analyses. The mechanical properties of the alloy in tensile tests and the hardness are determined.
