Composition and Stability of a Polynuclear Copper Sulfite Complex

Abstract

Conditions for the formation of a polynuclear copper sulfite complex were studied by spectrophotometry, conductometry, and chemical analysis. The composition of the forming sulfites was determined, and the equilibrium constant of formation of the polynuclear copper sulfite complex and its dissociation constant were calculated.
