Kinetic Parameters of Dissolution of Iron(III) Oxides of Varied Thermal and Chemical Prehistory in Hydrochloric Acid

Abstract

The kinetic parameters of dissolution in hydrochloric acid of Fe2O3 (hematite) samples of varied thermal and chemical prehistory are calculated in terms of Delmon's model of instantaneous nucleation on the surface of a solid reagent.
