Abstract
The static quadrupole interaction at the In site of the rare earth intermetallic compound Tb3In5 has been studied at room temperature by TDPAC technique. The results were compared with some Point Charge Model calculations, using 2 or 3 for the In charge, suggesting the value 3. Some additional AC susceptibility measurements indicated that this sample may be antiferromagnetic.
