Abstract
A rigorous statistical criterion is proposed to validate the hypothesis that observed moments of decay obey an exponential law. The use of the criterion for the five moments of α decay of the desired element 271110 demonstrates that there are sufficient reasons for the original hypothesis to be accepted.
