Abstract
Magnetic and mechanical properties and microstructure of two sorts of steel, St3 and U8, have been analyzed as functions of the number of loading cycles in the region of low-cycle fatigue (σ > σ0.2). Measurements of magnetic parameters are juxtaposed with changes in the fine structures of the materials.
