Abstract

A segmentation method for analyzing images of tested surfaces obtained by computer processing results of penetrant-dye tests with the help of the technical vision system is suggested. The method is based on the processing of the recorded images using color filtering and the basic criteria used in visual analysis of tested surfaces after penetrant-dye tests.
