Abstract

From the Fröhlich approximation of changes in the magnetization of a ferromagnetic material on the descending branch of the hysteresis loop, an analytical expression for the inductive coercive force H B of a homogeneously magnetized body has been derived. Effects of magnetic parameters of the material and demagnetizing factor on H B have been studied.
