Abstract
The kinetics of α-pinene isomerization over natural clays and the influence of catalyst pretreatment with different amounts of sulfuric acid have been investigated in a batch reactor at atmospheric pressure. Contrary to catalytic activity, selectivity was seen to be independent of pretreatment.
