Abstract

Relations between the electric and magnetic characteristics of a system consisting of an inductance coil of arbitrary length and an extended electrically conducting ferromagnetic rod are obtained by methods of the theory of magnetic and electric circuits. The electric characteristics of such a system are investigated experimentally in the 25 Hz – 50 kHz frequency band.
