Abstract
The isotopic composition of ground ice in lacustrine deposits of different age in the Taimyr Peninsula is discussed. It is shown that the combined use of two isotopic indicators (2H and 18O) provides additional information (unavailable when any of the isotopes is used alone) about the conditions of formation of segregated ground ice.
