Thermal Chlorination of Methyltrichlorosilane

Abstract

The procedure for thermal chlorination of methyltrichlorosilane to chloromethyltrichlorosilane in a circulation flow system was developed. The yield of ClCH2SiCl3 was studied as influenced by the reaction temperature and the reactant ratio.
