Angular distribution of photons in dielectronic recombination

Abstract

We have calculated the angular distribution of photons emitted after dielectronic recombination of highly charged uranium ions and obtained differential cross sections for resonant transfer and excitation in collisions of U90+ with C atoms using the impulse approximation.
