Abstract
A two-dimensional Fourier transform method is used to construct a fundamental solution for thermoelastic bending of mildly sloping orthotropic cylindrical shells. A linear distribution of heat over the shell thickness and newtonian convective heat exchange with the external medium are assumed. The results of some numerical calculations are presented.
