Abstract
The results of investigations into the occurrence of extremely low-frequency (ELF) modulation in high-frequency (HF) signals are presented. The seasonal and diurnal behavior of the occurrence of synchronous multichannel (SM) ELF modulation is established. A correlation between the SM ELF modulation occurrence and the presence of sporadic E-layers in the ionosphere is found.
