Welcome to the fifth issue of Medical Science Educator of 2023. The current issue features a large number of manuscripts which I hope will be of interest to you. Next issue we will publish the first articles that have been submitted for the special journal section on the topic “Health Science Students as Future Educators: How to Support and Encourage Them?”. We received a large number of submissions, of which a few have been accepted already and several others are still under review.

Our journal is still growing and like many other journals in the field, we continue to experience an increase in submissions. We are very privileged to have a dedicated group of IAMSE members who are willing to dedicate some of their time on reviewing for our journal. Peer review is an essential element in academic and scholarly publishing. Being a reviewer is not only important for providing feedback to others, but is also a powerful activity for your own professional development as a scholar.
