Welcome to the second issue of Medical Science Educator of 2021. As I announced in the previous issue, from now on, Medical Science Educator will be published bi-monthly featuring 6 issues per year. The current issue features a large number of manuscripts reporting on medical education, including a meeting report of the 2020 IAMSE Web Seminar Series entitled “Admissions During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Navigating an Altered Landscape for Successful Selection of Future Health Care Providers.” I hope the articles will be of interest to you.

Last month, the Editorial Board appointed another new Associate Editor to strengthen the team of editors. Prof. Marjo Wijnen-Meijer, PhD, Team leader Curriculum Development at TUM Medical Education Center, School of Medicine, Technical University of Munich (Germany), started her new position at our journal per March 2021, and we look forward to working with her.

The Editorial Board is very pleased with the increasing interest for Medical Science Educator, the increasing number of submissions and the large number of new reviewers who applied to offer their services. Still, we are always looking for more reviewers who would like to become part of our reviewer team, so if you want to join us to assist in this important endeavor, please let us know as we highly appreciate your help!

I hope you will enjoy this issue and that you will continue supporting Medical Science Educator both as a reader and as an author of your own scholarly work for the benefit of our work and the work of others!
