Abstract
The Russian mathematician Andrey Andreyevich Markov (1856–1922) produced many very famous results, such as the law of large numbers and central limit theorem, and Markov chains. He was also known for his irascible nature. This article provides a brief overview of his life, and mathematical details of some of his results.
