Großer subkutaner Tumor: Was steckt dahinter?

Cystic echinococcosis — dog tapeworm. A big palpable subcutaneous tumor in the right thigh. Not always underlies a malignancy

Eine 50-jährige türkische Patientin stellt sich in der chirurgischen Notfallambulanz wegen einer Wundheilungsstörung im Bereich des rechten medialen Oberschenkels vor (Abb. 1). Vier Wochen zuvor waren ihr aus einem gut tastbaren Tumor Biopsien entnommen worden — zum Ausschluss eines Sarkoms. Die Patientin hat aktuell weder Schüttelfrost noch Fieber.
