Lower: three independent preparations from NRC-CRM-FDMT-1 sub-sampled without homogenization. β-N-methylamino-L-alanine (BMAA) is eluting at 4.69 min, 2,4-diaminobuytric acid (DAB) at 4.86 min, and N-(2aminoethyl)glycine (AEG) is not greater than the limit of detection in these samples, elution time expected at 4.52 min. Note the greater variability in concentration found in the NRC-CRM-Asp-Mus-d samples which is indicative of sample heterogeneity
