In the article entitled: “The utility of transthoracic echocardiography to confirm central line placement: An observational study” published in the April 2014 issue, Can J Anesth 2014; DOI: 10.1007/s12630-014-0111-3, the conclusion of the abstract should begin with “Transthoracic echocardiography …” and the conclusion of the French abstract should begin with “L’échocardiographie transthoracique…”. Amir Rumman’s degree should read: BSc. Dr. Aliya Nurmohamed and Amir Rumman are affiliated to Queen’s University School of Medicine, Queen’s University, Kingston, ON, Canada. The publisher apologizes most sincerely for this error.
