Abstract
Development of efficient enzymatic reaction cascades necessitates individual and careful handling of reaction conditions, which may differ from one enzymatic step to another one. Compartmentalization is a key solution that can be either done under static or flow conditions. The recent developments enable the use of different strategies, materials and set-ups, which can be applied based on the requirements of different bioprocesses.
