Abstract
The present study explored the influence of social support on levels of acculturation and acculturative stress of Asian international students. The participants were 220 Asian international students who are studying in the U.S. For this aim, multiple regression analyses were conducted by using Hayes’s (2013) PROCESS tool. The results of this study reported that colleges’ support and social support in the U.S. were partial mediators, but social support from home country was not a mediator on the relation between levels of acculturation and acculturative stress of Asian international students. In conclusion, the present study provided implications, limitations, and recommendations for future research.
